The writing describing the piece adds to our exchanges..?

It's the only way I'll be able to find your impressive stuff again - I have a terrible memory!

Ta muchly for the comments, in all thier artspeak! It’s also quite a relief to find that the pictures connect in the way I’d intended.

Comes natural ..art speak that is..!
:iconpostliberal:
hehe It certainly does once you've studied art at any level. Helps to seem vaguely credible, even if a lot of it is often empty and vacuous!

I suppose like anything it is a language which relies on having a shared understanding. Description is good whatever in order to sort out in your own mind what is going on for yourself. Being forced to explain or asked questions brings to the surface all manner of revelations.

It certainly does - I often find that the best reponses come from people who don't make art, or claim to have little ability in it, or background in it. They say things like "that's a sullen Liam Howlett", and it makes me laugh. Which is good, cos po-faced art is often boorish.

I really like your use of part references to figures and landscape but also semi abstract use of elelments realised in a querky, dream like manner... Excellent
